In
A Pefect Stranger, the husband goes missing suddenly one day. Yet, how
many of us are missing each day. How many go through the day on
automatic, not truly there, not feeling or saying that which is going on
in our relationships and in our hearts? How important it is to be
present, moment by moment with everything life brings to us. When we are we do not have to suddenly run away and escape from the incredible lie we've been living. |

The Criminal Heart
Is there truly a criminal heart? Is crime something we are all capable of? This is an enormous question that many have grappled with. What causes us to turn down a dark and dangerous path? What pulls us in this direction? And, is the outcome inevitable, once we forget about certain parts of lives and of ourselves.
Some would say the criminal heart has been overcome with temptation, with greed, desire, panic. There could also be a simpler explanantion...one that goes to the very core of who we are and what we are doing in this world. I explore this in my next book and in every book I write.

Death In The Caribbean
It's actually amazing what a difference it makes to die or be killed in the Caribbean...The police and justice system are different from the U.S. Some say that the police don't care so much about foreign deaths. Crime can be considered natural. Inquests can take years. The pace of everything is much more slow and there are endless twists and turn, if you do not understand their system of law.
